SHARE is an independent, volunteer organization providing education, professional networking, and industry influence in Mainframe and Enterprise IT. SHARE benefits are year-round, but it is best known for its Summer and Winter conferences. These are week-long gatherings of IT professionals with a System z focus. In 2016 the winter conference was held in San Antonio, Texas, and the summer event was held in Atlanta, Georgia. Here are some highlights of the 2016 summer event which was held July 31st through August 5th.

ISPF Search For (options 3.14 and 3.15) is a function of the program SUPERC which is also a compare utility (options 3.12 and 3.13). These utilities can be invoked directly from a data set list (DSLIST or 3.4) using line and primary commands.
The ISPF Edit/View line command COL or COLS adds a column indicator below the line where it is issued. These column displays scroll with the data lines. The COLS primary command adds a column indicator at the top of the display which does not scroll. You can use Edit/View settings to automatically add the COLS primary command to every file you edit or view. Here's how:
